Loan Processing Coordinator

Location: Remote

Position Purpose 

NOTE: It's an entry level position

The person will work within the premium finance operations area, receiving loan applications and verifying documentation. Its primarily an administrative, data-verification role. They need to understand business rules in order to detect errors and inconsistencies, and be extremely fast and detail-oriented.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review loan applications to make sure they meet requirements.
  • Communicate with customers to gather missing information or documents.
  • Work with agents and insurance companies to confirm details.
  • Ensure loans are approved, entered into the system, and funded within deadlines.

Education and Experience/Knowledge Requirements

  • Service-oriented with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with excellent time management skills.
  • Proactive problem solver with strong conflict resolution abilities.
  • Team player who can also work independently and thrives in a remote environment.
  • High school diploma required; college education preferred.
  • 0-3 years of experience in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Retail, Customer Service, or Administrative roles.
  • General computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience in premium finance or property and casualty insurance is a plus but not required.

  • Must be able to work Pacific hours: Monday – Friday 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM PST for education. Post education, the schedule is 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM PST.

*The specified number of vacation and sick days is based on a full year of employment (12 months)
