Sales Development Representative Associate

Were looking for an ambitious and motivated candidate eager to build a career in Sales Development (SDR) by progressing through the Customer Success pipeline. This entry-level role provides valuable hands-on experience in lead generation, customer success, and close collaboration with both our Marketing and Sales teams. As part of the Appulate team a recognized leader in insurance technology you'll contribute directly to our growth while developing key skills for a long-term career in sales.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Support onboarding, training, and customer engagement of retail agents
  • Research and identify target accounts and key decision-makers
  • Prospect and qualify inbound and outbound leads
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand customer needs and position our solution
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to refine outreach strategies
  • Contribute to pipeline generation through phone and email

 

Who You Are:

  • Must have Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English
  • Have 1-2 years hands-on experience in a Sales Development Rep (SDR), Inside Sales, or similar role
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Comfortable balancing short-term learning with long-term sales ownership
  • Strong prospecting and presentation skills
  • Strong understanding of outbound pipeline generation processes
  • Enthusiastic and vibrant attitude
  • Proficiency with HubSpot (or relevant experience with another CRM)
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and eager to learn
  • Experience in a customer-facing or training role is a bonus
  • Bachelors degree in business, marketing, or related field

 

Technical Requirements:

  • Dual monitors (laptop screen counts as one), headset, webcam
  • Hardwired internet connection (LAN cable; not Wi-Fi)
  • Minimum system specs for Windows OS:
  • RAM: 16GB
  • SSD: 512GB
  • Processor: Intel Core i5 / Ryzen 5 or higher

 

*This is a fully remote role and we do not provide equipment.

 

What We Offer:

  • 100% remote position with working hours aligned to CST (8 hrs. per day, Monday to Friday)
  • Work schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST (US Central Standard Time)
