Account Adjustment Specialist

This vacancy is opened on our outsourcing project.

The client is an US company who is a leading provider of digital billing, payment, and outsourcing solutions for the insurance industry. They help carriers, MGAs (Managing General Agents), and premium finance companies streamline their operations through technology-driven platforms that improve billing, collections, customer service, and overall efficiency making insurance payments easier for everyone involved.

Position Purpose  

The Account Adjustment Specialist plays a key role in managing incoming inquiries and requests for account adjustments from insureds, brokers, and our internal contact center. This includes handling returned checks, credit card chargebacks, correspondence, and issues identified during internal audits. This role requires a range of competencies, including effective communication, the ability to work independently and attention to detail.

Qualifications:

Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred.

Experience/Knowledge:

  • Fluency in English (verbal and written)
  • 0-3 years of related experience (insurance or insurance financing experience is a plus)
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and proficiency with relevant software.

Technical Requirements:

Dual monitors (one of which can be a laptop screen), a headset, webcam, hardwired computer connection (computer, connected to router by LAN cable, not Wi-Fi), and the following minimum system specifications:

  • 8GB of RAM
  • 128GB hard drive
  • Intel Core i3 or AMD Ryzen 3 processor
  • Windows 11
  • Reliable internet connection

*This is a fully remote role and we do not provide equipment.

 

We're offering:

  • 100% remote position with working hours aligned to PST (8 hrs. per day, Monday to Friday)
  • Work schedule: 
    -
    6:00 AM ~ 2:30 PM PST
    - 7:00 AM ~ 3:30 PM PST
    - 8:30 AM ~ 5:00 PM PST

    The work schedule will be determined based on the needs of the team.
