About the role:

• We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Full-Stack Developer to join our remote team and help scale our Node.js/React-based web application. You’ll work closely with our engineering and product teams to enhance platform security, performance, and integrations while building out new features.

Qualifications:

• Develop and maintain scalable APIs to support seamless integrations with external platforms (Stripe, Salesforce, TalentLMS).

• Optimize PostgreSQL database queries, ensuring high performance and data integrity.

• Implement security best practices (OAuth, JWT, SSO with Okta) within our Heroku-based infrastructure.

• Enhance and maintain Cloudflare authentication and WAF security rules.

• Build highly responsive, modular UI components for a modern React-based application.

• Optimize frontend performance, state management, and API interactions.

• Work with designers and product teams to deliver intuitive, user-friendly experiences.

• Collaborate with DevOps to optimize Heroku Dyno performance, database scaling, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Enhance logging, monitoring, and error-handling mechanisms.

• Contribute to Cloudflare-based security improvements, including DNS, caching, and WAF configurations.

• AWS Experience a plus.

• Work within an Agile/Scrum environment, participating in stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

• Write clean, well-documented code and conduct code reviews for team members.

• Provide technical mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Expectations:

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack development using Node.js, React, and PostgreSQL.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, authentication protocols (OAuth, JWT, SSO), and security best practices.
• Experience with Heroku (or AWS/GCP), containerization (Docker), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, NextJS, Webpack, and frontend performance optimization.
• Familiarity with Okta authentication and Cloudflare-based security solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
