Murano is looking for enthusiastic people with a passion for coding. Our LevelUp program offers recent CS or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) graduates, or developers with meaningful practical experience, the opportunity to start a career as a junior developer at Internet Brands.
LevelUp is a full-time, ten-week course that teaches you the basics of software development, frameworks, and workflows to solve real-life development problems. By the end of the course, you will be capable of working on any assigned task, backend or frontend. We also focus on how to ask questions, read documentation and find answers to technical questions.
The LevelUp program is taught by senior developers with considerable professional and teaching experience. During the program you will work remotely with a multinational team using modern technologies such as Laravel, Vue.js, RDBMS (MySQL and/or Postgres), VSCode, Linux, and Docker. The program includes a learning stipend so that you can focus full-time on learning and growing as a developer.
Required Experience:
- Has at least C1-level English
- Has an CS or STEM-related college degree, or meaningful programming experience
- Possesses fundamental programming knowledge, including OOP principles
- Has basic mastery of git (branching, committing, and merging)
- Has basic HTML and CSS knowledge
- Has basic familiarity with PHP and Javascript
- Has basic command of SQL (SELECT and JOIN)
